WELCOME TO VNAO CARRIER AIR WING FOURTEEN

VNAO Carrier Air Wing Fourteen is an operational air wing that is apart of the Virtual Naval Air Operations (VNAO) organization.  We use Digital Combat Simulator for our flight operations, and our members represent a very diverse group of simulator enthusiasts from all over the world to include countries from North, Central and South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. 

Here at VNAO, we like Naval Aviation.  We have had the pleasure of attracting individuals from all aspects of aviation from real-life naval aviators to maintainers and civilian pilots.  We are proud to be associated with retired military individuals as well as young future aviators just getting interested in the field of aviation.

VNAO is a flight simulator group.  We fly in DCS World and utilize the modules for the F/A18C Hornet and the F-14B Tomcat.  We are currently operating from the deck of USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72).

DCS World and its study-level aircraft modules offer the realism and immersion that VNAO aviators have come to expect from an excellent flight simulation. Carrier operations in DCS is possible and amazingly detailed.

In the VNAO, you control your destiny. If you just want to fly the aircraft and learn to land on the carrier, you can do that. If you would like to take your immersion to the next level and train to become an LSO (Landing Signal Officer), Airboss, or even a squadron leader, it is all up to you and your level of dedication.

Our group has various levels aviation knowledge, background and experience; from simulator hobbyist, to recreation and airline pilots, to active and former military professionals.   Our aim here is to learn, train and replicate the operations, tactics and procedures of the infamous Carrier Air Wing, and have fun in the process.
